Front cover has decorative, alternating rose-patterned and ivy-patterned, striped designs on Permalin Boniflex paper over hardboards. Back and spine are maroon-colored, Taratan bonded leather. Spine has small, raised bands and gilt lettering. All page edges are gilt. All endleaves are cream colored, silk moire. Attached, cream colored satin ribbon bookmark.
